About the Rutgers School of Social Work

We are one of the largest schools in the country devoted to education and research on social welfare. With classes on three campuses – Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick – as well as online and off-campus sites, our programs meet the needs of students and working professionals in New Jersey and across the country.

Whether you are interested in our academic programs or one of our more than 200 continuing education and professional development courses, we invite you to explore the range of opportunities at our school. We offer a BSW, four MSW programs, Dual Degrees, a Ph.D. and a DSW.

We are fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, with more than 1,500 student enrolled in degree programs and invite you to join us in Partnering for Change.
