New Jersey Department of Children and Families Management Fellows Project

This project, designed specifically for the managers of New Jersey’s local child welfare offices (formerly DYFS), is based on the Human Services Management Competencies developed by the Network for Social Work Management.  Extending over 18 months, the project employs a variety of learning techniques including, live lectures, team projects on capstone projects, executive coaching, mentoring and conference presentations, to enhance the leadership and management performance of these public managers. Participants in the program will be granted the Certified Social Work Manager (CSWM) credential upon completion of the project.
