Director of Development
BA, Grove City College
Judy joined the School of Social Work in October 2007. She spent numerous years in the financial services industry in New York City in a number of capacities including finance, marketing and real estate. After leaving financial services, she took a year off to re-think her "next career" and ended up providing care and support for three family members who faced medical emergencies. During that time, she began talking to the Rutgers Foundation and ultimately found her way to the School of Social Work. "When I learned about the social issues the school was addressing, particularly the family issues, I realized how intensely I could relate to their mission. It felt very natural for me to join a school that is educating social work professionals to help those in need." Judy is passionately focusing on re-connecting alumni with the school, raising scholarship funds for students, and supporting faculty research and program endeavors.
Judy graduated from Grove City College with a Business Education degree; at Homecoming 2007 she received an Alumni Achievement Award in Business from her alma mater. During her career, she also received the Distinguished Woman of the Year Award in 2001 from the Boy Scouts of America. She makes her home in Maplewood with her husband Dan and son Kip.
