Bio:
Ms. Donna Wardell, MSSW, LSW received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, and a Master of Science in Social Work, Administration and Planning Concentration from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Wardell is the Director of Communications and Instructor for the Rutgers School of Social Work. In addition to her development and management of the communications operations for the School of Social Work, Ms. Wardell is also a non tenured member of the social work faculty, and teaches at the BASW and MSW level. Ms. Wardell's professional background includes management and administrative roles in nonprofit organizations. Prior to coming to Rutgers, Ms. Wardell held two significant posts for the National Association of Social Workers: Director of Professional Development for the Texas Chapter and most recently Assistant Executive Director, of the New Jersey Chapter. During her time at NASW, Ms. Wardell was awarded the "2006 Gilman-Wells Award" by the Council of Executive Directors of the National Association of Social Workers.
