This workshop will examine the issue of
engaging fathers in the social service delivery
system. It is vital that human service practitioners
identify, engage, and support fathers
in the service plans that are being created to
improve the well-being of their children. This
workshop will explore the role of fathers,
review specific barriers to fatherhood
involvement, and identify strategies and
resources that will assist the human service
professional to effectively collaborate with
fathers and families in practice.
