This workshop will explore the social and psychodynamics of computer-mediated communication, self-disclosure, deindividuation and disinhibition on the Internet, and the limitations of using the Internet to conduct psychotherapy. We will explore ways of thinking about digital identities and the recent research on the effect of digital engagements on the brain and cognitive function.
