Applying for the 2014-2015 MSW Fellowship in Aging
Fellows are selected based on their commitment to work with older adults and their families, as well as for their potential to serve as leaders for the field of aging.
Fellows must be entering their advanced year of field education (i.e., Field III) in the summer or fall of 2014.
Fellows must be on track for completing the coursework for the MSW Certificate in Aging before graduation.
- In partnership with the School of Social Work's Field Education Office, Fellows must select a field placement that will allow them to complete a leadership project as part of their internship.
Application materials are available online at http://bit.ly/189MHnG.The application involves providing basic information about your status as an MSW student, as well as answering two brief questions regarding your interest in the program. It also requires you to upload a recent version of your resume as an MS Word document.
The online materials are due on Friday, February 14, for continuing MSW students at Rutgers. The materials are due on Friday, March 28, for newly admitted Advanced Standing MSW students.
Finalists for the fellowship will be invited to participate in an interview with the Selection Committee.
