Professional Credit Courses

Professional Credit Courses (PCC) consist of non-degree, graduate-level courses. These courses provide an excellent opportunity for individuals who may be considering the MSW program to explore introductory classes without committing to a full or part-time degree program. The courses are equivalent to those offered during the first year of the MSW degree program. Upon acceptance into the Rutgers MSW degree program, up to 18 PCC credits may be applied towards your MSW.

Please note:

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university is the prerequisite for admission.
  • Taking courses in the PCC in no way guarantees admission to the School of Social Work. Anyone interested in applying to the PCC program should apply online at http://gradstudy.rutgers.edu/. Select the Social Work - Professional Credit (Nondegree) as your program option
