Dual Degrees

In an effort to offer as many opportunities as possible, Rutgers School of Social Work offers  dual degrees in the following areas:

Juris Doctor/Master of Social Work (J.D./M.S.W.)

The School of Social Work, in collaboration with Rutgers School of Law-Camden and School of Law-Newark, has established an accelerated dual-degree program in law and social work through which a student can obtain the J.D. and M.S.W. degrees.  With the accelerated program, a full-time student can expect to complete the degrees in four years rather than the five years normally needed to complete both degrees separately.

Master of Social Work/Master of Divinity (M.S./M.Div.)

The School of Social Work at Rutgers and the Princeton Theological Seminary offer an accelerated program in social work and ministry leading to a master of social work (M.S.W.) and master of divinity (M. Div.) The program is designed for students who expect to enter forms of ministry requiring competence in the disciplines of theology and social work.
